FRANKLIN-- Lasell defeated Dean 68-40 on Saturday afternoon at Pieri Gymnasium. Dean only trailed by eleven early in the third quarter, but then a 10-0 run by Lasell put the Lasers ahead, and they never looked back. Lasell controlled the paint in this matchup, scoring fifty-two points in the paint while only attempting one three-pointer as a team. 
Juju Nealy of Lasell led all scorers in the game with eighteen points and recorded five steals. Every member of the Lasell team scored in the game. 
Tori Viau led Dean in scoring while making two three-pointers, while Cat Thomas had four steals. As a team, Dean did a good job of drawing fouls, attempting thirty-three free throws in the game, and converting on eighteen. Dean’s next contest will be on Tuesday on the road against Johnson and Wales at 5:30.
