The Dean College Men’s Lacrosse team is looking to bounce back this 2022 season. The Bulldogs only played five games last Spring. Dean was looking hot winning their final three games but tragically faced COVID-19 protocols, which shortened their season.

The Bulldogs graduated only four seniors at the end of the 2021 season, which meant the central core would stay in Franklin, MA. This young core is only improving as the Bulldogs brought in over ten incoming freshmen for the 2022 season.
The Bulldogs have elite scoring all over the field and throughout their attack and midfield lines. An excellent offense is backed up by stellar defense and goaltender.
Dean kicked it off Saturday (2/12/22) against Bridgewater State for their first scrimmage of the Spring. The Bulldogs defeated Bridgewater State, with scoring from multiple players and effective defense being the key to their win. The energy that the team presented after finally being able to play their first game was great to see.
Dean had their final test Wednesday (2/16/22) when they took the trip to East Connecticut State for a joint practice. The next stop for the Bulldogs is in two weeks till their season opener, where they will face off against Husson University (2/26/22).
The Bulldogs have a deep roster that they will look to utilize this upcoming season. Veteran leadership is always present during practice, film, lifts, and the classroom.
Coach Matt Schairer will enter his sixth year as Head Coach of the Bulldogs, and his team will look to make a splash in the GNAC conference.
