WEST HARTFORD- In a strong offensive day for the University of Saint Joseph, the Blue Jays closed out a decisive 87-60 victory against Dean College. The Blue Jays remain undefeated atop the conference after winning their twenty-fourth straight as Dean drops to 14-9.

The game was close in the first half thanks to Dean’s strong defense, but as the first half progressed, the Bulldogs' defense cooled down, leading to scoring opportunities for the University of Saint Joseph. After a cold start, the Blue Jays heated up from beyond the arc, and they kept their turnovers low.

Foul trouble was another early challenge for Dean, as they committed nine fouls, with four from Malik Spearman in the first half. The Blue Jays defense was strong going into the break as they entered halftime up 39-20 over the Bulldogs.

In the second half, Dean could not turn the game around in their favor as the University of Saint Joseph continued to soar with their red-hot offense. The game soon became out of reach as the Blue Jays had all the momentum and control, winning 87-60.

Dean will look to get back in the winning column on the road against Lasell University on Tuesday, February 14th, at 7:30.
