Franklin- On a memorable day for the Dean Bulldogs seniors, Giana Pollock and Sari Aldbury, the Dean Bulldogs go 1-1 in their two-game home finale.

Before the start of game one, it was a beautiful but sad sight on the court. Both Giana and Sari’s parents advanced to the court, where they were greeted by Dean College President, Kenneth Elmore to take pictures in their last home game at Pieri Gym for the 2022 season.

Thanks to a mixture of strong effort and perseverance, the Bulldogs completed a comeback against the Emmanuel Saints, in the first game, in the fifth set, despite being pushed to a 2-1 brink.

Both teams played a highly competitive first set, but Emmanuel had a little more in them and came away with the victory.

The second set of game one was all Dean, as the Bulldogs were dominant from the start. Dean’s elite performance led them to win that set.

After a successful set, the Bulldogs struggled in set three. Emmanuel rebounded and broke the tie to lead the game two to one.

In the next and final two sets, the Bulldogs were on the verge of losing the game. However, the Bulldogs managed to find a rhythm and came back to stun the Saints. Dean won back-to-back sets to take game one.

The final game for Dean was not so easy. In their last home game of the season, Dean took on Elms College.

After a stunning comeback victory, Dean could not replicate its winning momentum. In the second game of the day, Elms College swept Dean 3-0.

Dean went 1-1 on Saturday and will face Anna Maria College on Wednesday at 6:00.
