Last Friday, the Dean College Bulldogs were rocked on the road again losing 75-17 to Husson University Eagles. The Bulldogs were looking to win their second game of the season, however, that did not go as planned.

Going into the fifth game of the season, the Bulldogs looked to bounce back after suffering a heartbreak lost to RPI Engineers in their last game. The Bulldogs in this game made another quarterback change by starting freshman Isaac Sisneros.

In the first quarter, Eagles running back Elijah Garnett ran for a 16-yard touchdown to put the first points on the board. The Eagles special teams would miss the field goal to give the Bulldogs the football. On the Bulldogs' first offensive drive, quarterback Isaac Sisneros responded with a spectacular throw to wide receiver Dy’riece Smith for a 33-yard touchdown and take the lead 7-6 with the Bulldog's special teams making the field goal score The Eagles would respond for the rest of the first half to lead 40-14.

In the second half, the Eagles scored touchdown after touchdown to close the door on the Bulldogs to win 75-17.

Bulldogs quarterback Isaac Sisneros finished the game with two touchdowns and throwing for 286 passing yards. Eagles running back Elijah Garnett finished with four touchdowns for 250 rushing yards.

Bulldogs' linebacker Melchi Reeves had this to say about preparing against Curry College this Saturday.

“It means a lot; we need to execute more in practices and in games. We have not been good at executing calls or doing the simple things. We need to get back to it and focus on the little things,” Reeves said.

The Bulldogs will face Curry College on Saturday on the road at noon looking to get their second win of the season.
