Dean Can’t Overcome Early Deficit vs William Peace

CARY-- The Dean Bulldogs fell to the William Peace Pacers 14-6 on Monday afternoon. The Pacers scored three runs in the second inning thanks to RBI hits by Cameron Barefoot, Nick Tyler, and Adam Joseph. Dean only had two fewer hits than William Peace but had four errors that resulted in extra runs for the Pacers.

Nick Tyler and Griffin Sandstrum each had three hits and three RBIs in the win. Maxwell Kasprowicz was the winning pitcher in the game, going five strong innings, allowing just one unearned run, with four strikeouts.

For the Bulldogs, Jakob Paschetto and Demarcus King both had two hits in the loss, with James Galati adding two RBIs. Mason Neumann was the losing pitcher in the game, going three innings, allowing five runs, four earned, and striking out four.

Dean will now travel to Florida and play Bluffton University on Wednesday March 8th at 11 am.
