FRANKLIN--The Dean College football team fell short in their home opener to Curry College 33-25 on a clear sunny afternoon at Dale Lippert Field.

The Bulldogs then made it 33-25 with 2:56 remaining in regulation thanks to a 27-yard touchdown reception by Quintus Reid. Soon after, the Bulldogs recovered their onside kick and had a chance to tie the game but were stopped by the Curry defense.
