WEST HARTFORD-- The Dean Bulldogs lost on the road to the University of St. Joseph Blue Jays 75-20 on Saturday afternoon, as the Blue Jays advance to 15-9 on the season.
The biggest problem in this game for Dean was their 32 turnovers which resulted in 41 points for the Blue Jays. St. Joseph also outrebounded Dean 40-29, which contributed to their victory.
It was a balanced team effort for the Blue Jays. Khalise Harris and Maya Slisz led all scorers with eleven points each, with Harris recording eight steals. Amanda Fudge was third in scoring with ten points figures, and every member of the team who saw action in the game scored.
Maranda Cournoyer led Dean with six points in the contest, while Cat Thomas led the team in rebounds with seven. Dean will be in action again this Tuesday, February 14th, against Lasell University at 5:30.
