Dean Falls to Johnson and Wales

Johnson and Wales defeated Dean 79-27 on Tuesday night in Rhode Island. JWU got off to an 8-0 start in the first minute, making their first three field goals. For the game, Johnson and Wales scored sixty points in the paint.

Mikayla Caruso scored a game-high sixteen points while also bringing down eight rebounds. Sarah Wisniewski scored fourteen points on only eight field goal attempts. Peyton Oliver filled the stat sheet with fourteen points, seventeen rebounds, and six steals.

Cat Thomas led Dean with six points and was active defensively with two steals. A bright spot in the losing effort for Dean was that they shot 15-20 from the free-throw line. The Bulldogs will play next on Thursday at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine at 5:30.
