The mini skid continues for Dean following the 96-84 defeat at the hands of the Saint Joseph’s Monks on Thursday evening. The Bulldogs drop to 13-8 while the Monks improve to 10-9.

To begin the opening half, Dean struggled rebounding, resulting in a quick 17-2 run from the Monks, urging Dean to call their first time-out. Following the stoppage, Dean's strong defense helped set up a mini-offensive spark, putting Dean back in the game.

The momentous run was short-lasting, as the Monks caught fire offensively and increased the Bulldogs deficit. As a result of their strong three-point shooting, the Monks entered half-time leading 44-37.

Coming out of the break, the game remained close for the first few minutes until the Monks gradually pushed the lead higher and higher with the help of their fast-paced offense.

The Monks went on to secure their victory, marking their tenth win on the season as time expired.

Dean will host Elms College on Saturday, February 4th, at 3:00 in Pieri Gymnasium as they look to end their two-game losing streak.
