FRANKLIN-- Dean College defeated Lesley University in a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon, winning 6-5 in eleven innings after a walk-off single from Brayden McLaughlin. The Bulldogs tied the game in the ninth thanks to an RBI groundout by Seth Cruz. Dean had eleven hits to just six for the Lynx, contributing to the Bulldogs' first win since March 8th.

For the Lynx, Colby Jacobs and Trevor Faison both had two hits and one RBI, while James Brandon drove in the other three runs for Lesley. The Lynx scored in just two of the eleven innings. Logan Watts was the starting pitcher for the Lynx, but he didn't factor into the decision throwing five innings, allowing three hits, four runs, just one earned, walking six, and punching out three. Roy Lenhard was the last of four pitchers to take the mound for the Lynx and was charged with the loss. Lenhard threw 2.2 innings in relief, surrendering four hits, two runs, and throwing two wild pitches leading to Dean tying the game in the ninth.

Nick Amendolara had a career-high four hits in the win for Dean. Brian Dovidio also had another three-hit game, good for his third straight game with three hits. Dovidio also drove in a run and scored once. Brayden McLaughlin had one hit and it was the biggest of them all, as it gave Dean the win in the eleventh. Domenic Brazeau started and went six innings, giving up five hits, five runs, three earned, and struck out three. Jared Dussman was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs after he pitched a scoreless eleventh inning. Dean will travel to Milton today to take on Curry College at 3:00
