Dean Steamrolls Southern Maine

FRANKLIN-- Dean College Men's Lacrosse defeated Southern Maine 19-9 on Monday afternoon at Grant Field to improve to 5-2 on the season. The Bulldogs scored the first three goals of the game and led 6-2 after the first quarter. The Bulldogs dominated all afternoon as they outshot the Huskies 59 to 29. Dean played well together, with thirteen of the nineteen goals being assisted on.

For the Huskies, Tucker Nussinow did not receive much help from his teammates. He scored five of his team's nine goals and added an assist to finish the game with six points. Omar Contreras chipped in with two goals.

For the Bulldogs, Diego Segee had eight goals to bring his total to twenty-seven goals in just seven games this season and had three assists. Alec Speirs had four goals and one assist. Greg Centeio also had a hat trick with three goals of his own. Dean will now travel to Emmanuel College on Friday night for a game at 7:00.
