The 2022 NFL season has been terrific so far, with great games, trades, and divisions in close races. However, the main headline for NFL fans is where superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will sign this season. Beckham has been listed as one of the best wide receivers in the 2010s to step on an NFL field. His list of accomplishments include winning NFL offensive rookie of the year, which sportswriters to this day hail as one of the greatest seasons ever by a rookie. Beckham was named to two all-pros teams and three pro bowls, made the one-handed catch, and has a Super Bowl ring.

Beckham has only played twenty-one games in the past three seasons due to injuries. In last year's Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals, Beckham tore his ACL for the second time in his career. After the Super Bowl, there was no question if the Los Angeles Rams were going to re-sign Beckham. Instead, the Rams acquired other wide receivers in free agency, which posed questions if Beckham will stay a Ram. At a press conference in October, Rams’ head coach Sean McVay expressed how he felt about Odell and said “I love Odell,” “He knows how we feel about him. We’ve got a little bit of time.”

During the 2022 NFL season, Beckham has made trips to NFL stadiums and has spoken highly of teams he would consider playing for. Beckham attended the opening night of the NFL season between the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills and Tampa Buccaneers, and the New Orleans Saints game in week two. He has also visited Metlife Stadium, the home of the New York Giants where he played for five seasons.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed interest in Beckham after the Cowboys failed to trade for players by the trade deadline. Jones in responses when asked if the Cowboys would make an offer to Beckham said “Odell is someone that we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor. I know the Cowboys star on that helmet, when he puts it on, it could look pretty good.”

A couple of days after Jones expressed interest in Beckham, ESPN announced that a decision on where Beckham will play would be decided by the end of November. The teams Beckham put on his list to sign are the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants, and the San Francisco 49ers. The team that signs Beckham will have another receiver to add to their team and become a championship favorite. For Beckham, the best situation for him is to sign a contract he deserves and to stay healthy.
