RSA is hosting an event on Saturday, April 2nd, from 8-10pm, called Journey Through the Decades. Nick Pazos, President of RSA, and Daniella Kaplan, RSA Chair of Major Program, met with the Dean Daily to discuss the upcoming event.
“Journey Through the Decades is our annual spring tradition where we collab with different clubs around campus,” said Pazos. “Every year there’s different themes we have done like Disney, Decades, and much more. Each club will have one decade and with the table that they have, they can have an activity that corresponds to the decade.”
At the event, expect to see “Dean News Network, Speakeasies, Music Culture Club, Not Your Forte, and E Sports,” said Pazos.
Journey Through the Decades is “a fun event and tradition that we have every single year,” said Kaplan.
Pazos said RSA is looking to “bring people together and have fun.”
Students are encouraged to attend the event because “there is always a huge bond with students and it’s a great way to meet new people,” said Pazos. “Also, students can come up to any ebaord and ask us what we are about.”
It was also added from Kaplan that there will be fun activities such as “dancing and fun food from different decades with costumes from the clubs.”
Attended a Journey Through the Decades in the past? This one’s different.
“There’s always a different environment of people,” said Pazos. “RSA thinks outside of the box and music really stood out to us because we know that Dean students really love music.”
