FRANKLIN-- Dean College Women’s soccer fell to Johnson and Wales 5-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Longley field. Johnson and Wales improved to 8-2-1 on the season while Dean fell to 1-5-2.

Mackenna Renaud led the way for Johnson and Wales, scoring two goals, including their first one just two and a half minutes into the game. Madison Sanborn scored the second goal for JWU 28:46 into the first half, and the two-goal halftime deficit was too much for Dean to overcome.

Dean struggled to get anything going offensively, as they finished with only two shots on goal. Johnson and Wales dominated with thirty-four shots and twenty shots on goal. Hayley Viebrock and Juliana Abramovich added one goal each late in the second half for JWU.

Lexi Gerow played well for Dean with fifteen saves, but it wasn’t enough in this one. Dean will travel to Paxton on Saturday for a match with Anna Maria College at 10 AM.
