Have you ever had one of your favorite places change their schedule? Well, Dean College has done that with several locations around the campus.
With the start of the school year, there are often changes and little tweaks made to schools here and there. Some of the newest changes at Dean College may not be the most popular amongst the students. Between the beloved Beanery and the mailroom, the latest shake up could have students having to rethink the layout of their schedule.
As of late, several changes have been made to the opening and closing times of places around Dean College Campus. The Beanery, for example, has extended its availability by another hour, until 4 PM. This is perfect for students looking for a later dose of their beloved Starbucks. Other changes may not be as well received. The mailroom, mainly, is now reported to be closing an hour earlier than it was last year.
This results in students having to alter their schedule or figure out alternative ways to acquire their mail. Many are not pleased with this change as it leaves a shorter amount of time than they are used to reach the mailroom before closing. The Beanery’s hour change, however, is more positively received.
Many of the closing times of dining facilities are being questioned, as several students are not enthused with the dining hall closing at 7:30 PM. While the extension of Beanery hours is a step in the right direction, there is hope that this will once again apply to the mail room.
