Club Feature: DCO Helps a Child in Need

Dean Community Outreach is at it again helping to build beds for the Build A Bed Project. A Bed for Every Child is an organization committed to ensuring that every child has a comfortable place to sleep in Massachusetts. The organization was launched back in 2012, originating from the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless. The organization is helped by communities, schools, and healthcare institutions to provide unprivileged children with the opportunity to have a place to sleep while promoting impactful change.

DCO, the community outreach club, is hosting an event this Thursday to help the organization. They will offer food, snacks, and music for participants who want to make a difference for a child. The event will take place on April 10th from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. and will be located on the outside basketball courts here at Dean. If it is going to rain, the event will be moved to the Atrium of the Student Center.
