Today, April 15th marks a return to normalcy at Dean College. After nearly two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, Dean may have made its last changes to its COVID-19 policies. The Thayer Barn Testing Center has officially ceased operations.

Now that Thayer Barn has officially closed, students, staff, and faculty are no longer required to show a green ‘cleared’ screen on the CoVerified app. Those who still wish to use the CoVerified app on campus will still be able to until the app becomes inactive on May 15th.

Starting on April 18th, face masks will become optional in all indoor settings, including the Main Stage. Indoor events at Dean still require proof of the COVID-19 vaccination, including the booster shot. At outdoor events and activities however, proof of the COVID-19 vaccination is not required.

Students experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should contact the Health Services Office immediately. The Health Services Office operates Monday-Friday from 10 AM-5 PM and can be reached at healthservices@dean.edu/ 508.541.1600.
