Dean College often hosts events for its community to enjoy, whether it is an event at Boomers, a movie night, or even reading marathons. Last year, Dean put together a banned book reading event which gave the Dean community access to banned or challenged books in the library.

Dean College will host a Banned Book Week Read-a-Thon on October 2nd from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Student Center Atrium! This event will allow the Dean community to read books many of which have been banned or challenged by governments and other groups both domestically and internationally. A list of these books can be found at the American Library Association Office of Intellectual Freedom website.

Information about how to register for the Banned books event can be found here. For more information about other events at Dean College, visit today.dean.edu for more information!
