The radio of today is the radio of the future. Whether it is in the car on the way to work, at school, or at other events, we all listen to the radio. It provides excellent music and local news for the soul and the people. There is an on-air radio station on the Dean College campus called Power 88. Students and staff tune in daily to listen to current Dean College students who want to be on the radio, gain experience as radio station hosts, and demonstrate their personality, love, and passion for music and radio.

What kind of music does Power 88 play? They play from top hits to hottest rock to current pop charts. Vic Michaels, General Manager, runs the whole Power 88 station and is a very supportive professor who provides a welcoming learning environment and gives helpful advice.

Anyone attending Dean College is welcome to participate. "Should you as well?" Students who take this course can take it as many times as they want, regardless of their major, to learn how to be a radio host. Furthermore, students who participate multiple times and show their skills, talents, and passion can become station directors, one of the station's leaders who assists incoming students.

Our current directors are Taylor Tremblay, the Assistant Training Director; Mikayla Krupski, the Promotion Director; Tyler Lawton, the Assistant Promotion Director; Jason Jett, the Program Director; David Usher, the Production Director; Chris Caraballo; the Music Director, and Troy Edmond, the Training Director, who is now Dean College Alumni Class of 2023. These students work at the radio station and gain experience and good leadership skills, which will help future students taking the course to learn and grow as radio hosts.

Furthermore, students and anyone in the United States can listen to Power 88 as a live broadcast in the car on the radio or via their website -->http://www.power883.org/home.html. Suppose you have questions about Power 88, email General Manager Vic Michaels at vmichaels@dean.edu. Remember to tune in to Power 88!
