Spring 2022 Protocols at Dean College for COVID-19

After a month away from winter break, the students at Dean College will return to campus for the second semester of the 2021-22 school year. The Covid-19 Pandemic is still going on with the Omicron Variant spreading across the US, Dean College is taking precautions to stop the spread on campus.


Students, faculty, and staff were all required to be fully immunized and boosted before the Spring semester. With this in place, Dean will keep many of its protocols from the previous semester in place.


The following protocols will be in place for the Spring Semester at Dean College.


*Immediately upon arrival on campus, both residential and commuter students must test for COVID-19.


*Students, faculty, and staff must test once a week. Unvaccinated individuals must be tested twice a week.


*Face masks are will still be required in all indoor settings and are only allowed to be removed when eating at the Smith Dining Center. Student-athletes must always wear a mask during all athletic-related activities.


*Students are required to display their CoVerified “Cleared” green screen to their professors. Food and drinks are also not allowed to be consumed in class.


*Students are still allowed to visit other residence halls on campus but cannot have outside visitors regardless of vaccination status.
