Straight off the bat, as soon as the opening number commenced, I couldn’t help but beam and unconsciously shift my body closer to the performance. Personally, before this show, I hadn’t seen a live musical in years, and I’m more than happy to say this brought back really good memories. I remember thethrill and chills I would get when seeing people pour their hearts out on stage, it’s a sort of magic this group of Dean College students successfully showcased.

The lighting, the action, the body language, the on-point sound queues, all perfected to the core with the greatest efforts of the people involved. From the wonderful cast performances never failing to entertain to the skillful production team with their exceptional work, this is truly a musical worth remembering.

She Loves Me: a memorable show ranging back to the 1930s, brought to life by fellow college students. The simple yet charming “Thank You Madam” song numbers, the notable performance of the musical number “A Romantic Atmosphere” performed by Aiden Day and ensemble, the exceptional Kayleigh Lyons nailing her performance as Ilona Ritter in “I Resolve”, the “Twelve Days of Christmas” number well sorted and planned out, these are just a few of the many aweing performances filled with applauses from the audience in the end.

And of course, we can’t forget about the iconic Professor Kozar, who helped bring this production to life with his acting skills and passion for teaching students the world of theatrical arts. Although he is retiring this semester, Professor Kozar will always have a special place in everyone’s hearts.

So, without a doubt, congratulations to everyone who madethis musical a total win. As a person who just transferred here this semester, you all definitely made a great impression. And I have a good feeling Dean College theatre and productionstudents in general will continue to impress people with their creativity, talent, and commitment to the arts.
