Where Do We Go From Here: Music and Spoken Word
“Where Do We Go From Here: Music and Spoken Word” is a live performance on Wednesday the 31st being performed in the Marvin Chapel. Members of the Unitus Ensemble will sing music by Dr. Anthony Trecek-King and speak words quoted from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Please come support and experience an evening of art.
Study Abroad Program Information Meeting
Ever wanted to study and travel abroad? Melissa Read, the program director, will be holding an informational meeting on the 31st from 5pm to 6pm in the Campanella Board Room. From internships in places like Washington D.C. and Disney or travelling to Europe, please attend this meeting if you’re interested!
Blind Date with a book!
The 31st is the last day the Dean College Library is accepting donations for the “Blind date with a book!” event. In honor of February’s holiday that single people hate, you can change that tune by picking up a blind date book to take home and read. Remember to return the books when you’re done, others will want to read them too!
Thursdays@Boomers
On Thursday the 1st, Boomers will be opening the bar and the mics! You sing your heart out, do a stand-up performance, or watch friends perform. The bar will be opening at 6pm, 21+ only and ids will be checked before consumption by a member of staff or campus police.
Dean College Sports
There are multiple sports games occurring on the 1st; here are the dates and times for each of them! The Women’s Basketball team vs. USJ, originally postponed from the 30th, will be facing off at the Pieri Gym from 5pm to 7pm. Come support the team and cheer them on! The Men’s Volleyball team vs. Wentworth game is being held at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Come support and cheer them on from 6pm to 8pm! GO BULLDOGS!
WGAO Power 88 TOGETHER
Are you a Sports Broadcasting Major, or interested in Sports Broadcasting? An informational meeting will be held on the 1st from 4pm to 5pm in Science Building Lecture Hall 11. This event is mandatory for Sport’s Broadcasting Majors, but open to all that are interested! Hope to see you there!
Big Prize Bingo
The Dean Activities Board will be hosting a BINGO night on the 2nd in the student atrium from 7pm to 9pm. Prizes seem to be ranging from squishmellows to beanbag chairs, it’s sure to be a night of fun and competitive tensions
These are all the on and off campus events being held this week! Feel free to drop into any of these events if they sound interesting to you! Come back on Sunday the 4th to hear the events happening from February 5th through 8th. That’s all for now, have a good week!
